Special Rules

  • Use AA40 rules unless otherwise stated.
  • No national objectives
  • Fighters can scramble from any base
  • China can only place 1 unit per area. They can't place in newly captured areas. Burma road gives ability to build artillery, but no extra money.
  • The Western Allies can't move units into Russian-controlled areas. If they liberate a Russian-controlled area, they remain.
  • The British split as usual between Europe and Pacific maps. Britain may split their starting money freely. Note the British have no industrial complexes in Asia at the start of the game.
  • The United States splits its income between the Europe & Pacific maps, just like Britain. San Francisco is the regional capital for the Pacific map. Split the income evenly between the maps, with odd dollars going to Europe. US units can't conduct non-combat movement over the map boundary in the Western hemisphere. Combat movement is allowed. Movement across the map boundary in the Eastern hemisphere is allowed.
  • France is not used, even if liberated.
  • Each side wins by holding 13 of the 19 victory cities at the end of the turn. If neither side wins by turn 10, the game is a draw.
  • Order of Play is Germany, Soviet Union, Japan, UK, Australia, Italy, USA, China

Designer's Notes

This scenario is based upon AA50-41. The Russians have been given a fighter for more flexibility. The national objectives are dropped as unneeded. Bases have been added based upon my own judgement. The Chinese have been restricted.
