Fictional

This category contains scenarios based upon entirely fictional backgrounds or incorporating fantastical elements (alien invasions, zombie hordes and the like). A scenario based upon Harry Turtledoves's World in the Balance series, H. G. Wells's War of the Worlds, Max Brooks's World War Z or Pablo Parente's Dust would fall in this category even though they have a specific historical setting. Fictional settings without fantastic elements would also qualify such as the Victory or Blitzkrieg boardgames. Scenarios which make no effort to even be pseudo-historical such as Capture the Flag would be considered Category:Abstract.
