Axis & Allies 1942 is an addition to the family of boardgames created by Larry Harris. Released in 2009, it celebrates the 25th anniversary of Axis & Allies.
The changes in the map from AAR are minor. The setup was changed some. The rules from AA50 were largely used (cruisers, defenseless transports). Technology was dropped.
