From Chanimur site. A world where the Black Plague was a Zombie Plague. After the dust settles, Venice and the Hanseatic League emerge as two of the most successful states in Europe, and are busily colonizing the Americas, and at the same time researching causes and cures for the zombie plague. This world's science (especially medicine) is much more advanced than ours at the same time period; they've got microscopes, pasteurization, primitive organ transplants, and all kinds of other goodies that weren't developed in our world until the 20th century.
