Vessels that carry land units to combat. Transport are vital for the US & Britain to bring their forces to bear on the Eurasian mainland. In the early versions of A&A, transports have some value in naval combat, because they can take losses instead of the battleship. A large group of transports could even defend itself. Starting with AA50 the combat capability of transports is entirely removed (with destroyers providing the extra defense).

AA42 0 0 2 7 Can carry 1 infantry and 1 land unit of any type (including another infantry). Must be taken as losses last.
AA42 0 0 2 7 Can carry 1 infantry and 1 land unit of any type (including another infantry). Must be taken as losses last.
